STEADFAST’S STORY

STEADFAST International Recruitment Corporation was formally established in Manila, Philippines in 1987. From the very beginning, the company’s incorporators aimed into becoming one of the Philippines leading manpower agencies, soliciting only the best-trained and high skilled Filipinos for overseas deployment.

As early as 1978, under a different corporate identity, the people behind Steadfast resolved to tie-up with the world’s reputable organizations and become their partner in getting the best talents. For more than a decade, Steadfast has proven its efficiency in deploying only the best personnel abroad.

The company specializes in the deployment of domestic helpers, factory workers and nurses. 2,900 Filipino workers were deployed to the United States alone until 1995 and they were all given immigrant and other visa types. Steadfast does not stop at merely deploying personnel, most of its deployed practitioners have received their immigration papers.

As early as 1978 up to the present, the group behind deploying domestic helpers, skilled workers and factory hands to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. The company averaged 50-60 applicants a month deployed to client groups to these countries.

Humble Achievements

In 1992, Steadfast was appointed by TECO as one of the few pioneer lead agencies that deployed domestic helpers and factory workers to Taiwan, based on its proficiency and clean record with Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), the two leading government agencies regulating the deployment of Filipino workers abroad. From 1986 to the present, the POEA ranked Steadfast as one of the Top 5 Best Agencies that deployed domestic helpers in Hong Kong. POEA Top Performance awardee in 2002 for providing overseas employment to Filipinos.

The Steadfast Recruitment Process

A. Information

We pool needed workforce through 6 channels
1. Print and TV Ads
2. Special Recruitment Activities and Job Fairs in various parts of the nation from North to South.

4. Satellite branch in Baguio City(Northern part of Luzon, Philippines)
5. Agents
6. Walk-in applicants/referrals

B. Orientation and Briefing

We extensively discuss each step and procedures to prospective applicant by group prior to acceptance of their application in order to avoid confusion and ensure submission of correct documents.

C. Health Examinations

Every applicant is subjected to rigorous medical examinations through accredited Clinics to ensure that they are physically and psychologically fit to qualify for Overseas employment.

D. Training and Trade Tests

Domestic Helpers undergo the minimum required training hours for HK, Singapore and Taiwan with certificates. They are rated based on each skill e.g. Mandarin languages learning level. For factory workers, construction, maintenance or highly technical labor force, actual trade tests are required as a means of qualifying them.

E. Documentation

All required documents such as employment certificates, personal records, diplomas, identification cards, school transcript of records, passports and security clearances are checked for authenticity and validity. All documents are handled according to the existing government laws for legality.

F. Processing

Steadfast is efficient workforce and its problem-free with the POEA and other countries’ embassies ensure fast processing of applicant’s documents.

All necessary documents are collected and required in the shortest possible time to meet our foreign principals expected deployment date on time or sometimes even earlier.

G. Pre-Departure Briefing Seminars

Steadfast provides behavioral guidelines and basic foreign words translations in booklets to help the applicants adjust to their new working environment as well as with their employers. They are psychologically prepared to avoid unexpected terminations due to miscommunication and mistakes.

Instructions on how to check in at the airport, baggage handling, and immigration procedures are well discussed.

We maintain an open line communication with workers and foreign principals to promote harmonious relationships with them and attend to their concerns which will affect their performance.
